Visas 

​

USA: U.S. citizens seeking to enter India solely for tourist purposes, and who plan to stay no longer than 60 days, may apply for an electronic travel authorization at least four days prior to their arrival in lieu of applying for a tourist visa at an Indian embassy or consulate.

Upon Arrival

​

Disembarkation Form: Upon arriving at Chennai International Airport, you will have to fill out a disembarkation from. This form can be found near the immigration kiosks. Depending on what flight you will be taking, there are chances of you receiving the form before landing. Check with the flight attendants to make sure you did not miss receiving it. Once you fill out the form, you can hand it to the immigration officer when you get to the kiosk. After this, you will be cleared to baggage claim. 

 

 

Transportation

 

UBER: In chennai, it is quite safe and easy to use Uber for your travel needs. If you are comfortable travelling alone or if you familiar with the area, then this is the most convenient method to travel. Just be sure to download the UBER app on your phone before you reach.

Taxi: There will be a lot of people at the taxi stands by the airport asking if you want to ride with them. Although this is usually not the best choice due to a hike in fares, it might still work for you. Best to make a decision depending on luggage and time of landing, for safety concerns

Pick-Up: If you are completely new to the area, and really are not comfortable with travelling alone, please contact us ahead of time with your itinerary and we will make sure you have safe a ride arranged.

Accommodation

Rooms: Accommodation will be available from January 27th morning to January 28th evening or if necessary, Jan 29th morning.
